A bit of fun and lots of solidarity

IRELAND

The Teresian School of Dublin students joined in a fundraising activity for TA social projects in Peru, India and Congo, managed by the DNGO InteRed, showing their solidarity in the time of Covid-19.

Solidarity Week is an annual event in the school. This year, in these strange pandemic times, Class 6 brightened the week by organising various activities for the younger classes including: a mini-sports day, crazy hair day and crazy sock day.

They wrote, performed and recorded plays, had a dress-up day and movie day.dublin solidarity

These eleven and twelve-year-olds showed serious organisation skills as well as kindness, friendship and leadership to the younger pupils.

Stepping up with these creative ideas and efforts to support the social projects of the TA in Peru, India and Congo and for the Irish Emergency Alliance, they gave me reasons to be immensely proud of them.
