MANILA, Philippines.
Maite Uribe, President of the Teresian Association, has written the Letter of the Year, 2014: "Our Father, Thy Kingdom come."
"We are coming to the end of a year of many graces. A fresh wind is blowing in the Church, opening doors to hope. There are simple signs pointing the way to deeper change, Gospel signs that help us to go tu what is essential in the Christian message. These are prophetic signs that give priority to the poor and the marginalized, signs that speak not just to the life of the Church but also to many men and women of good will who have sensed that something new could be coming into being."
"Through their experience and teaching, Pedro Poveda and Josefa Segovia are true teachers. They were attentive to the situations and problems of the society of their time giving concrete and courageous responses. They are our constant benchmark to discern and shed light on our searching."
The letter has three parts
1. Lord, teach us to pray. 2. Seek first the Kingdom of God. 3. Forgiveness - Prophecy of the Kingdom.
