The Teresian Association participated in the closing ceremony of the V Centenary of the birth of Saint Teresa of Jesus in Luxembourg, October14-15.
Father Ulrich Dobhan, from Munich, provincial of the Carmelites in Germany, organized the conference titled "Teresa today. Women in the Church and in society." A day was devoted to "Teresa, guide and teacher of contemplative prayer."
"The status of women in her time as opposed to Teresa’s free speech without fear," "In her experience prayer and life are not separated," "Her ability to teach her nuns and all of us about contemplation," "The universality of her message through the ages allows us to say: You live here, Teresa of Jesus," were some of the topics from the participants.

On October 15, Fr. Léo Wagner, Vicar General, presided over a Mass in the parish of the Holy Spirit de Cents, which attracted a large audience with the theme: “Fill my vessel." Milly Hellers said a few words of thanks to the participants on behalf of the staff.
