Monsignor L. Roberto Cona, Assessor for General Affairs of the Secretariat of State of the Holy See, has responded on behalf of the Pope to the letter sent by the TA President, Maite Uribe, expressing gratitude for the encyclical Fratelli Tutti.
The letter is as follows:
«His Holiness cordially thanks you for this gesture of closeness and assures you of fervent remembrance in prayer, so that the Lord may grant you faithful perseverance in your vocation, bearing witness to the fellowship and joy of the Gospel to all those around you. With these warm wishes, Pope Francis asks you to pray for him and his service to the holy People of God. He entrusts you all to the maternal protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Hope, and he gladly imparts the Apostolic Blessing on you and extends it to your families and loved ones.»
