MADRID, Spain.
On the International Day of Women a concert-prayer, led by Elia Fleta, was held in the neighborhood of San Cristóbal de los Angeles, Madrid. Also Lourdes Badenes STJ gave a talk on "Teresa of Jesus in person." The event was organized by a group of people from the Teresian Association who live in that neighborhood.
About a hundred people (parishioners, neighbors, religious Sisters founded by Father Osó, and other communities) attended the event.
For years, members of the Teresian Association want to join forces, collaborate with others, and encourage participation.
With the song “Mujer de a pie”, performed by Elia Fleta, they paid tribute to the women of the neighborhood. They bear heavy burdens alone, without support, but with amazing courage.
