During this past year, young people from the Teresian Association (TA) participated in various ways in the preparation for the Synod of Bishops dedicated to "young people, faith and vocational discernment," which will take place from October 3-28. Some young people represented the Teresian Association in two separate meetings. Within the framework of the Synod, Pope Francis will hold a special meeting with some young people.

On Sunday, July 1, in a ceremony presided over by Cardinal Carlos Osoro, a relic of Saint Pedro Poveda was enthroned in the chapel that honors his memory in the Cathedral of Santa María la Real de la Almudena in Madrid. This year this Cathedral celebrates a Marian jubilee since it is the 25th anniversary since St. John Paul II dedicated the temple, which took over a century to be completed.

Although the news on the eruption of the volcano in Guatemala seems to have extinguished the fire of the volcano, it is urgent to enliven our solidarity to collaborate in the reconstruction. On Saturday, June 16, the Educational Community of José Arnauda School celebrated the 70th anniversary of the presence of the Teresian Association in Alcoy, with a Eucharist in which people, life and experiences were remembered and appreciated.
