The Teresian Association in Argentina has assumed the management of a new schoolin 2016, Fahy Institute, in the Municipality of Moreno located in the western area of the so-called "Greater Buenos Aires." It is an agricultural technical school with three levels of education through secondary education, founded by the Association of Ladies of Saint Joseph (Irish community) in the late nineteenth century.

On December 12, FORO JAÉN awarded the "Hermenegildo Terrados del Cerro" prize to the Teresian Association (TA) in Jaén, after its 103 years of existence in this city. FORO JAÉN is a Cultural Association that gives this annual prize to persons or groups that excel in their work in favor of this province, especially for their effort to project it towards the outside.

On December 3, anniversary of the birth of Saint Pedro Poveda, the International Musical Competition “Pedro Poveda, Victoria Díez, Josefa Segovia, with another rhythm,” convened by Pedro Poveda Secretariat, took place. The idea was to recreate the life and testimony of these people through musical language.

The memory of Saint Pedro Poveda in Guadix is alive in many ways, especially in the heart and affection of the people of the neighborhood of Las Cuevas. In recent years, new iconography keeps his figure and message close to those whom he loved and for whom he did so much. Given the large number of screenings and projections of the film POVEDA in different cities, due to the availability of DVDs and Blu-rays, we offer a guide on the "historical background" that can be of help when organizing forums or discussions on it. There is also a didactic guide for use in schools or by groups of young people. These are presented on December 3, the anniversary of the birth of St. Pedro Poveda, as a tribute to him and with gratitude.

The film POVEDA continues being screened in different countries through festivals, private screenings and/or film shows. In addition to Chile, in America the film has already been screened in Ecuador, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Peru, Uruguay, and Brazil. In a s few days it will be screened in Colombia and Argentina. It has also been premiered in Equatorial Guinea, Ireland, and soon it will be screened in France.
