On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the massive deportation of Jews to the concentration camps an exhibit, “October 16 1943, La razzia degli ebrei di Roma was inaugurated in Rome on October 18th. In this exhibit were shown the diaries of the TA which relate the fact that the TA had given lodging to Hebrews during that terrible persecution.

It marks the beginning of the presence of the Association in Andalusia.

Motivated by some people in Germany, a network of reflection, action and prayer has been set in motion because of the tragedy occurred on October 3 near the coast of the island of Lampedusa in Southern Italy, where a boat with 500 people on board sank without receiving help on time. 155 people survived. To date, 293 bodies have been recovered.
