A meeting with immigrant workers, many Filipinos along with some nationals from India and Sri Lanka, was held on March 7, in the city of Amman, where people of the Teresian Association in Jordan offer hospitality and human and religious formation to people who want to get closer to the Association. On this occasion Dr. Nenita Tenefrancia presented the pedagogy inspired by Saint Pedro Poveda. Later there was an interesting exchange of ideas and experiences.

On February 19, 2014, a panel discussion on challenges and priorities of European policy on Cooperation for Development was held at the European Parliament. The Parliamentary Group of Socialists and Democrats organized it. In this context, Mercedes Ruiz -Giménez Aguilar, president of the Coordinator NGO-Spain made an interesting presentation that analyzed the current situation of European policies for development.

Bishop Fidel Herráez, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Madrid, presided and concelebrated with fourteen other priests, the Eucharist in memory of Maria Angeles Galino Carrillo.
